Free UK Medical Cannabis Tracker

The Reasonable Adjustment’s free UK Medical Cannabis Treatment Tracker.

The Reasonable Adjustment has released a substantially expanded version of its UK medical cannabis cost calculator.

The original CBPM Cost and Tolerance Break Calculator was published in December 2025. A public version followed in January 2026, allowing patients to compare the potential cost of prescribed cannabis products.

The new Medical Cannabis Treatment Tracker keeps those comparison tools and adds prescription records, daily treatment entries, a searchable formulary, strain notes, terpene histories, follow-up observations and data exports.

The free tool is available at:

Comparing products and treatment patterns

THC percentage alone does not show the full difference between two products. The amount used per session and the number of sessions per day also affect the resulting quantity, labelled THC total and estimated monthly cost.

The tracker gives products A and B separate settings. Users can change the grams per session and sessions per day for each product before comparing:

• Labelled THC per session
• Labelled THC per day
• Daily and monthly quantities
• Estimated monthly cost
• The number of sessions available from a given quantity

The results use colour to distinguish higher and lower figures. The colours describe mathematical differences and do not judge which treatment is more suitable.

The explanation beneath the table identifies which selected pattern produces the higher daily labelled-THC total. It then calculates how much of the lower option would be required to reach that total.

For example, a 0.2g session of a 22% product contains 44mg of labelled THC. A 0.2g session of a 25% product contains 50mg. At three sessions per day, the calculated totals are 132mg and 150mg.

The tracker can show how many sessions of the lower-strength pattern would be required to match the higher total. It can also calculate the grams per session required if the number of daily sessions remains unchanged.

Fractional sessions are presented as mathematical comparisons. The nearest whole-session examples are also shown so users can see the effect of rounding the figure up or down.

The tracker identifies the higher daily labelled-THC total and shows how the lower option could reach the same calculated amount.

These calculations concern the THC stated for the plant material. They cannot predict absorption, impairment, symptom relief or an equivalent clinical effect. They should not be treated as dosing instructions.

A searchable formulary

The tracker includes a dated snapshot of hundreds of products captured from The Green Avenger’s MediCann formulary, together with reference information retained from the earlier calculator.

Products can be searched and filtered by brand, name, THC level, price, stock status, irradiation status and country of origin. Any products in the formulary can be compared without first adding them to a personal product list.

Formulary information can change. Prices, availability and product details should be checked with the relevant clinic or pharmacy.

Prescription periods and quantities

The tracker separates a prescription allowance from recorded consumption.

A monthly allowance concerns the quantity prescribed or ordered during the relevant period. Daily use does not restore that allowance. Prescribed, ordered, dispensed and used quantities are therefore recorded separately.

The remaining allowance calculation depends on the records entered by the user. It may be incomplete when previous prescriptions or orders from the same period have not been added.

Daily records and follow-up comments

Treatment effects may become apparent after the original diary entry was created. A patient could initially record symptom relief and notice a possible adverse effect several hours later.

Timestamped follow-up comments can be added without rewriting the original entry. This preserves the sequence of what was recorded and when.

Entries can include the product, amount, date and time, symptom targets, observed effects and possible adverse effects.

Strain notes and terpene history

Users can attach notes to individual products and strains. Where terpene information is available, the tracker shows other recorded products containing the same terpenes.

This creates a personal reference history across different products. A shared terpene does not establish that two products will have the same clinical effect.

Recording prescription changes

The audit timeline records prescription periods, allowance changes, THC limits and relevant statements from clinical appointments.

This gives patients a dated account of what changed, what was ordered and what happened afterwards. The resulting timeline can be used when preparing for a treatment review or discussing earlier prescription decisions.

Privacy and backups

Records are stored locally in the browser. The Reasonable Adjustment does not receive the information entered into the tracker.

Clearing browser data, changing browsers or losing access to the device may remove those records. Users should create regular JSON backups. CSV exports are also available for reviewing selected records in spreadsheet software.

Exported files may contain sensitive health information and should be stored securely.

This is a personal record-keeping and product-comparison tool. It does not replace medical advice or the official records held by a clinic or dispensing pharmacy.
