The Reasonable Adjustment 2025 Stats

Steady growth in visits and engagement during the site’s first five months

We launched The Reasonable Adjustment in late July 2025, so this is a short, sharp report on what happened next. The stats below come from two places, Plausible (on-site behaviour) and Google Search Console (search visibility).

Happy New Year. Thanks for reading, sharing, and keeping us honest. Here’s hoping 2026 is productive and relatively unproblematic.

What these stats are (and are not)

  • Plausible shows what happened on the site, but privacy tools can undercount or mis-attribute traffic.
  • Search Console shows Google Search performance only. It does not include direct visits, social, referrals, or other search engines.
  • Some “perfect-looking” months can happen in privacy-friendly analytics, especially when you are actively building, testing, or getting repeat visits via VPNs.

A small but real traffic source: ChatGPT

In 2025, Plausible logged 22 visitors arriving from chatgpt.com. It is not the main driver, but it is a real referrer in the mix.

Data notes

  • Plausible is privacy-friendly and can undercount when scripts are blocked. It can also mis-attribute referrers as “Direct”.
  • Search Console is the cleanest view of Google Search, but it does not represent total site traffic.
  • Some metrics can look strange month-to-month in small datasets. The trend matters more than any single month.
