They Slept on Their Domains. We Turned Them Into Evidence

DEFCON Domains: Why We Bought Them

By The Reasonable Adjustment – 15 September 2025

What We Did

Over the past few months, we’ve quietly acquired more than 30 high-risk or high-value domain names across the justice, employment, pharmaceutical, religious, and disability sectors.

These include:

  • Defensive mirrors of our own platform (thereasonableadjustment.org, thereasonabletimes.co.uk, theunreasonableadjustment.co.uk)
  • Watchdog redirects based on negligent or adversarial organisations (therecruitmentjunction.org.uk, ips-pharma.org, nigelwright.org.uk)
  • Narrative-control domains like reasonable.org.uk and weaponised-autism.co.uk
  • Ideological proximity domains such as holytrinityjesmond.co.uk, closely tied to the background of trustees at The Recruitment Junction

This was not a marketing exercise. This was digital containment, legally sound, strategically executed, and rooted in lived experience.

Why We Did It

When institutions fall short, they often count on silence, confusion, or time to dilute the facts. But domains don’t forget. Redirects don’t flinch. Logs don’t lie.

We secured these domains to:

  1. Prevent impersonation or spoofing by third parties
  2. Preserve access to evidence before it can be erased or quietly removed
  3. Redirect silent readers to the full story, including those watching from inside
  4. Track and expose when institutional figures attempt to monitor, suppress, or ignore key material

We don’t just publish articles. We build architecture that lasts.

We See the Trail

When someone accesses one of these domains, such as nigelwright.org.uk or therecruitmentjunction.co.uk, they are redirected to a relevant post. We log that event in full.

We capture:

  • The domain they entered through
  • The page they landed on
  • The IP address or proxy details
  • The user agent and session characteristics
  • The timestamp and referral trail

This allows us to see when internal staff, trustees, legal teams, or PR consultants are quietly monitoring our content, often after claiming in public that they have nothing more to say.

Sometimes they click from work. Sometimes from home. Sometimes through a LinkedIn message or a WhatsApp forward.

Regardless of method, the data confirms what matters most. They know we exist. They are paying attention.

A Quick Example

On 15 September 2025, traffic from Sweden, the UK, and corporate ASNs followed a redirect from nigelwright.org.uk to a live post about subject access obstruction.

Referer headers and session metadata showed that this link had been:

  • Shared internally
  • Opened across multiple IPs
  • Accessed through known corporate ISPs and residential lines
  • Monitored again hours later from a different jurisdiction

There was no direct email exchange. No public statement. Just quiet, unacknowledged surveillance and a complete log of every step.

Lawful. Ethical. Relentless.

We do not impersonate. We do not publish falsehoods. We do not claim to be who we are not.

But we do take pre-emptive steps to prevent misrepresentation and protect the public interest.

Each domain we hold is:

  • Archived with matching expiry dates for coordinated renewal
  • Monitored using live analytics, passive fingerprinting, and firewall-level visibility
  • Used strategically to protect the integrity of published investigations

Some of these acquisitions, particularly those related to The Recruitment Junction, are logged publicly at thereasonableadjustment.co.uk/domain-ownership-notice. Other entries are retained privately and released as needed.

If you’ve landed here by following one of those redirected domains, welcome. You’ve just stepped into a platform built for accuracy, not appeasement.

Final Thought

Silence doesn’t stop truth. Delay doesn’t erase misconduct. And ignorance of a redirect doesn’t mean you weren’t logged reading the very post your organisation hoped to bury.

We didn’t just buy domains. We bought time. We bought visibility. We bought the receipts.

Ultimately, this is about proving one thing above all else.

Organisations do not control the narrative. Not anymore.
